MNsings 2015 Schedule

  • Oct 3 (Saturday), 7 pm: Singing In the Dark. Wabun Picnic Area, Shelter C (Mpls, MN). Mary and Bret will lead the annual "in the park in the dark" sing, along with guest songleader Sarah Larsson, of the Nightingale Trio, who will bring and teach some songs from Eastern Europe. BONUS: we'll also break out the latest addition to our Lending Library, the long awaited Rise Again Songbook. Directions: Wabun Shelter C is:
    • part of Wabun Picnic Area in Minnehaha Park.
    • just north of the MN Veterans' Home main entrance.

    • wheelchair accessible, and adjacent to a playground and wading pool

      ROAD CONSTRUCTION: Allow a little extra time for driving & parking; there is construction along Minnehaha Ave.

  • November 14 (Saturday) 3:00pm. Community Sing: A Festival of Remembrance. Northfield Retirement Community Chapel, 900 Cannon Valley Drive, Northfield, MN 55057. Led by Bret Hesla and Mary Preus. Followed by treats, hot cider and coffee.
  • November 15 (Sunday), 3:30pm: Third Annual All Souls Sing. Lakewood Memorial Chapel. Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis. Led by Bret Hesla, Mary Preus and Dan Chouinard. Join us to sing songs of remembrance and thanksgiving.
  • Dec. 6 (Sunday), 2:00 pm. Second annual community sing as part of the Seward Winter Art Crawl.
  • January 16: Saturday night sing in Minneapolis with a full fledged focus on the new Rise Again Songbook.
  • April 2016: Marine on St. Croix sing
